What is claimable

1. Tread Separation
Tread Separation is tread detachment that occurs in the buffing layer of the casing.

Note: Differentiate between tread separation and ply separation, ply separation is a condition where the old tire ply is detached from the casing but the tread is still attached to the ply.

2. Groove Crack
Groove Crack is a crack in the groove caused by tread defects.

Note: Differentiate between Groove Crack and Foreign Object Crack, Foreign Object Crack is a condition where the groove cracks caused by sharp objects during tire use.

1. Characteristics of Groove Crack
2. Crack occurs when the tread is still thick (±2-3mm used)
3. Crack length (50+cm) while Foreign Object Crack is usually shorter (±20-30cm)
4. Cracks occur at several points in the casing, while Foreign Object Crack usually occurs at one point

3. Patch Failure
Patch failure occurs when the part of the case that is repaired with a patch becomes bloated due to air trapped inside.

Note: The difference between patch failure and casing failure, casing failure that occurs at the point where there is a lining is caused by overload or overpressure.
